Terms

These terms cover the website build and the optional upkeep plan from Spartan Lead Sites ("we", "us"). When you go ahead with a build, you also sign a build agreement with us. If that agreement says something different from this page, the agreement applies.

The build

• The build is $1,500 USD, one time. It includes everything listed under What you get on our home page.
• Estimated delivery is 5 business days from the day we have both your deposit and your details (your services, your area, your logo and photos of your work). It is an estimate, not a deadline: it moves if details or answers from you arrive later.
• Anything outside the package, such as extra pages or features, is quoted separately and only done once you agree to the price in writing.

Payment

• Half, $750 USD, is due as a deposit to start. The other half, $750 USD, is due when you approve the finished site.
• All prices are in US dollars. Any sales tax that applies is added to the invoice.
• The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel before we start building. Once the build has started, the deposit is not refundable, because it pays for the work already done.
• The site goes live on your domain only after the balance is paid.

You see it before you pay the balance

We put the finished site on a preview address and you go through it. The balance is due when you approve it, and nothing goes live on your domain until you say so.

Changes

• Two rounds of changes are included during the build. A round is one list of changes you send us together, which we make and then show you on the preview.
• Changes beyond the two rounds, or after the site is live, are part of upkeep if you have it. If you do not, we quote them before doing any work.

What you provide

• Your business details, your content and photos of your work, and answers to our questions in reasonable time.
• You confirm you have the right to use everything you send us, such as logos, photos and text, and that the facts about your business are true: your license, your reviews and your years in business. We never write reviews for you or invent numbers.

Who owns what

• The domain is registered in your name, not ours, from day one.
• Once the balance is paid, you own the site outright, and the source files are yours on request, at no charge.
• Every lead the site brings in is yours, and you can export the whole list any time.
• Moving the site into your own hosting accounts later is a paid handoff, done on request.
• We may show the finished site in our own work, such as on our website, unless you ask us not to.

Upkeep (optional)

• Upkeep is $97 USD a month: monitoring, updates and small changes when you ask. A small change is an edit to what is already on the site, such as new text, photos, prices or a service; a new page or feature is quoted separately.
• It is billed monthly, in advance. There is no contract: you can cancel any time, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for.
• If you cancel, the site stays up.

No guarantee of results

We build every site to make it easy for people to call you and send you a job. We do not guarantee any number of calls, leads, jobs or sales, or any ranking on Google or another search engine. Those also depend on things outside our control, such as your reviews, your Google Business Profile, your prices, your competition and how many people search for what you do in your area.

Services from other companies

Your site relies on services from other companies, such as your domain registrar, the hosting provider, the email delivery service and, if you use one, your CRM. Their own terms apply to them. We are not responsible for their outages or changes, but if one affects your site while you are on upkeep, we will work to get it running again.

Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, our total liability for anything to do with a build or upkeep is limited to the amount you paid us for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
